In the sixth episode of our series providing exclusive coverage of the Plant Health Summit, we take a more global perspective.
Leon Kochian joined the faculty at the University of Saskatchewan in 2016 as the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Global Food Security, and was the keynote speaker for the Plant Health Summit. Kochian spoke about next-generation technologies for tomorrow’s crops. Stephanie Gordon caught up with him after to ask what this all means in layman’s terms and what we can learn from his experience working in agriculture globally.
